Fairview Area Schools
Fairview Area Schools wanted to update their old equipment, reduce their color toner costs and find a more reasonably priced service contract. Their machines were 6 to 9 years old and had limited technology; their color printers were costing them more than they should have, and their service provider did not keep in touch with them on a regular basis.
Update Fairview Area Schools’ equipment so they can take advantage of the latest machine technology and options, and reduce their color copying costs. Set up an affordable service contract that guarantees regular visits and prompt responses to questions.
Dunn’s Business Solutions conducted several walk-throughs, reviewed meter counts and assessed workflow needs. They then recommended a combination of three new Savin copy machines and a color printer, as well as a Full Service Maintenance Agreement, (FSMA).
Fairview Area Schools was able to update to new equipment with all the latest features and options, including: · Color Scanning · Thicker paper acceptance · Faster “single pass” scanning · Larger paper drawers · USB and SD Card ports
The FSMA on the newly leased machines saved the school more than $400.00 per month compared to the more expensive service agreement and color toner costs on their 6-year-old equipment. All black and color toner at 100% supply yield is included in the FSMA. The FSMA also includes all scheduled and un-scheduled service calls, (by certified technicians), all travel charges, phone support, and all parts and labor. Additionally, DBS was able to lease the 4 new machines to Fairview Area Schools for about the same amount of money per month that they were spending for service alone on their older existing machines.
